Wooden Rising Cards

INCREDIBLE RISING CARDS

One of the six picture cards is randomly selected by a spectator. Using our magic wand, you magically locate the chosen card!

Secret: Each of the six picture cards has two holes. One hole is perfectly round, the other has a flattened side the same shape as one end of your wooden magic wand. To begin, square up the cards all the same way (so that all the round holes are at the top). Now, if any one card is turned end-for-end, its flattened hole will line up with the round holes.

If the end of your magic wand is gently inserted through the top holes, the reversed card will automatically rise when the wand is slowly twisted!

Presentation: Display the six cards and have a spectator choose one (making sure that you do not see the picture). When the card is replaced with the others, make sure that it is reversed in the pack. To do this, turn the remaining cards end-for-end while the spectator looks at the chosen picture.

Give the cards a shuffle and then tell your audience that you are going to discover the selected card in a very magical way. Hold the cards with the faces toward the audience and gently insert the magic wand into the top hole. Begin to slowly twist the wand and the selected card will mysteriously rise from the pack – an unbelievable and spooky trick!
