MAGIC CHANGING CARDS

This trick will show your friends why they should never play cards with a magician. Four blank cards magically transform into four Aces and then four Kings!

Secret: For this trick, you will require the six special playing cards. There is a blank card, a normal Ace and a normal King. There are also three trick cards, which can be shown as either Kings, Aces or blank cards. Prepare the cards with the blank card on top of the three trick cards. The normal Ace and King should be left on the table. Slightly spread the cards, so that the Aces overlap each other and are hidden. It will appear as though they are blank. Show the fan of blank cards to your audience.

Now turn the cards so the backs are toward the audience. Put down the blank card and pick up the Ace from the table. Place the Ace at the front of the fan. Now spread the cards wider to reveal to the audience that the blank cards have magically changed to four Aces!

Turn the cards back to face you again, to prepare for the final change. Put the Ace down onto the table and pick up the King, adding it to the front of the fan. Secretly turn the cards end-for-end. Now, when you spread the cards, they will appear as four Kings (be careful not to spread too far)!

Show the Kings to your audience and tell them that’s why they should never play cards with a magician!
