MYSTERIOUS SPIKED COIN

The magician places a coin in a magic box, puts on the lid and then pushes spikes through the coin!

Secret: For this trick, you will need the round box (lid and base), the coin and the magic spikes. The first spike causes the coin to tilt up on its edge, allowing all the other spikes to miss it!

To perform the trick, first put the coin inside the round box and place the lid on top. Now push the first spike into one of the holes.

All you have to remember is that the first spike you place into the box must go into one of the outer holes. If you do this, the trick will work automatically. Practise and make it look like magic!
