RYAN’S MAGIC BOX

Ryan’s Magic Box is a very special prop that will allow you to make objects appear and disappear at any time.

Open the front door and look inside. The box looks empty – but what you are really looking at is a very special secret mirror.

Note: When you first receive your magic box, you will need to remove a protective layer of clear plastic. To give the best possible illusion, try to keep the mirror clean and free of scratches and fingerprints.

Now, open the top door and you will be able to see a secret compartment behind the mirror. Anything you place on this side of the mirror will be hidden from your audience when they look through the front door.

PULLING A RABBIT OUT OF THE BOX

For your first trick, you can magically pull a rabbit out of an empty box! Gently fold the rabbit hand puppet and place it into the hidden compartment behind the mirror.  You are now ready to perform.

Show your magic box to be empty by opening the front door. Close the door and wave your magic wand over the box.  Then open the top door and reach inside and slowly pull out the rabbit! Amazing!

RABBIT IN THE BOX

Once you have practiced with your rabbit puppet, you can really set the scene by holding him inside your magic production box! Remove the booklets from the production box and place your hand into the secret hole in the back of the box to control the performing rabbit. To complete the illusion, support the box with your other hand. You can then make the rabbit pop out of the top door, like a Jack-in-the-box.
